Having travelled and rented in Spain for a few years now I thought it was the right time to buy. The weather, the sea, the people …. I just had to find the right apartment. And given the amount of properties on the market it was going to be difficult.
A good friend introduced me to Mikael, who had previously been her agent. Mikael has a wealth of experience having lived in Spain for a number of years, and knows the good areas and the best apartments for the right budget.
We were only in Spain for a week and I met Mikael half way through our trip. Given the short timings Mikael managed to get me in to see a few apartments. Those first few viewings helped me to realise what I wanted and the location. On our return Mikael heard of an apartment for sale in the block I wanted – we had a virtual viewing and I could see the apartment was perfect. So we offered and secured it.

From start to finish the process was seamless – Mikael recommend a lawyer and bank – both of which were fantastic. Within a few weeks the apartment was mine – Mikael met us on arrival and we got the keys to our dream Spanish apartment.
